As the world slowly starts to regain some normality it was lovely to have John and Kane in the office for a really positive meeting.
As part of the Morgan Sindall preferred Supply Chain, RJC Joinery Ltd have entered into a Relationship Charter with Morgan Sindall and they popped down to get us fully signed up.
The aim of the charter is to ensure RJC Joinery Ltd and Morgan Sindall are working collaboratively whilst developing a long term relationship.
We are aiming to collectively deliver projects which are safe, on time, on budget and to a high quality standard.
We have a long standing relationship with the team at Morgan’s and every project we have completed has been a pleasure to be involved in.
Here’s to many more!
RJC Joinery is delighted to announce our appointment on to the joinery package of The Spine, the Royal College of Physicians’ new £35m northern headquarters in Liverpool.
We will be working with Morgan Sindall to construct the new 70,000 sq. ft. centre of clinical excellence.
Updates to follow!
We are delighted to be working with Vermont Construction for the first time on the Plaza 1821 project.
The project forms part of Peel Group’s Liverpool Waters, and consists of 105 residential apartments over 15 floors with commercial space available on the ground floor.
The project is due for completion March 2020, and we have made fantastic progress over the past few weeks.
The Sunnymede building was first constructed in the mid 19th Century. It has been used as a Italianate style villa, nursing home and Sunnymede School, which was Southport’s last independent school. It closed shortly before its 50th anniversary in 2010.
The Grade II listed building is being converted into flats and houses.
The refurbishment and conversion has included the demolition of the headmaster’s house, temporary school buildings and outbuildings. This was followed by the construction of six self-contained apartments and a further seven new houses built in two terraces .
We have thoroughly enjoyed working with the team from Delph Construction on this package which is so full of history, and we can’t wait to see this beautiful building being used again.
We started working with the University of Liverpool Construction Company (Special Projects) in May on a very special conservation project.
The Grade 2* listed Greenbank House, was built in the early 1700’s as part of the Toxteth Park estate. It was acquired by William Rathbone IV in 1809 from the Earl of Sefton, and was left to Liverpool University by the Rathbone family.
Greenbank House features unique architecture which has evolved from many additions to the original farmhouse, and is in the process of being renovated to bring it back to its former glory.
Once completed, the house will accommodate teaching facilities.
Progress is coming along great and all on time!
