Greenbank House, ULCCO

We started working with the University of Liverpool Construction Company (Special Projects) in May on a very special conservation project.

The Grade 2* listed Greenbank House, was built in the early 1700’s as part of the Toxteth Park estate. It was acquired by William Rathbone IV in 1809 from the Earl of Sefton, and was left to Liverpool University by the Rathbone family.

Greenbank House features unique architecture which has evolved from many additions to the original farmhouse, and is in the process of being renovated to bring it back to its former glory.

Once completed, the house will accommodate teaching facilities.

Progress is coming along great and all on time!
